Britney N. Winn

Founder. Director. Teaching Artist.

Receiving her Bachelors in Elementary Education and her Master of Fine Arts in Applied Drama and Theatre for the young; Britney is all about serving her community. She has taught Drama and Theatre classes in high school for multiple years. For 12 years she performed/directed for CloseUp Theatre Troupe at Eastern Michigan University. She even took a month to travel to Chifeung, Mongolia in China to teach an english class and of course added an after school drama program. Because what’s life without it?

Kemani Goodwin

Co- Director. Photographer. Videographer.

Kemani, born and raised on the eastside of Detroit, MI., studied Mechanical Engineering at Eastern Michigan University. He continues his journey in the field by adding Design Engineering. However, everyone needs a creative outlet. So Kemani began performing, writing and set building after becoming involved with Close Up Theatre Troupe at EMU in 2011. It became so much of his life that he became the co- director for five years. Britney and Kemani decided to step down together to experience different business ventures.

Tyneisha “Tiny” Solomon

Director’s Assistant. Performer.

Tyneisha is a graduate from Eastern Michigan University with a Bachelors in Communication. She has been a performer in theatre for four years at EMU. She is a member of the historically black greek letter organization Zeta Phi Beta Sorority Inc. She has done commercials, music videos and created a web series on YouTube.
